An arrest warrant has been issued by the Istanbul Anatolian Chief Public Prosecutor's Office for social media journalist Seher Yaşayacak, known on social media by the username "Seher Sultan".
The reasoning for the arrest warrant stated that she "aided the criminal organization by making posts aimed at laundering the names of criminal organization leaders Veysel Şahin and Derkan Başer, and caused the prevention of other potential secret witnesses by exposing the identity of a secret witness."
Seher Yaşayacak, known for her posts claiming to be in Italy and receiving training in that country, had recently targeted Cumhuriyet newspaper columnist Murat Ağırel.
