WHAT HAD HAPPENED?
Flash Haber TV, which was seized in March 2025 as part of an illegal betting investigation by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, was transferred to the trusteeship of the Savings Deposit Insurance Fund (TMSF) along with other companies such as Pozitifbank and Payfix.
At the end of June and the beginning of July, reports appeared in some media outlets claiming that the channel had been sold. However, the TMSF denied these allegations, emphasizing that the only reliable source regarding the sale was the “sales announcements” section on the institution's website. Nevertheless, the TMSF issued a statement today regarding the matter and announced that it has put Flash Haber TV up for sale.
