SAFE Media has become the new owner of Flash TV. While announcing the acquisition of the channel, the company stated that the new broadcasting period will focus on entertainment programs, game shows, music, culture and arts content, feature films, series, and lifestyle programs.

SAFE Media previously made headlines with its production of the film "Çatlı," which is based on the life of Abdullah Çatlı. It was stated that with the company's television investment, the goal is to move Flash TV to a more effective position in both traditional broadcasting and digital platforms.

The goal for Flash TV's new era is to strengthen its broadcasting and technical infrastructure.

NEW ERA STATEMENT FROM SAFE MEDIA

SAFE Media Chairman of the Board Seyfi Şahin said that the acquisition is part of the company's growth targets in the media sector. Şahin stated that they are positioning SAFE Media not just as a structure that produces or distributes content, but as a sustainable entity operating in different areas of media.

“Following the significant step we took in the cinema industry with the ‘Çatlı’ film, the partnership we established with Global Pictures has carried our goals in this field even further. With the addition of Flash TV to our structure, we are entering an ambitious and long-term period in television broadcasting.”

The statement conveyed that plans are in place to strengthen Flash TV's technical and broadcasting infrastructure, increase content diversity, and present the channel to viewers with special productions that appeal to different age groups.

The ownership process of Flash TV has been on the agenda with various developments in recent years. In the final days of 2024, allegations that the sale of the channel to Halk TV had been blocked were reflected in the public eye, and the channel passed to Erhan Kork on January 9, 2025.

It was stated that after Kork was later arrested on various charges, the Savings Deposit Insurance Fund (TMSF) appointed a trustee to the channel. Following the tender process, it was reported that Flash TV was purchased by Öz Er-ka İnşaat, and that allegations regarding the cancellation of this sale had surfaced in April 2026.
