Groundbreaking scandal on social media: Offered escort services while citing the Adhan as a 'witness'

According to a report by Mynet, a person broadcasting on social media claimed to know the "best escorts" in Turkey and stated they could arrange them for those interested. The fact that they cited the Adhan (call to prayer) being recited at that moment as a 'witness' further disturbed viewers. While opening live broadcasts on social media platforms has become quite common today, similar scandals are also occurring on platforms like TikTok and Instagram. This incident on Bigo Live has once again drawn attention to the need for the regulation of live broadcasts.

An investigation has been launched by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office into the person with the handle ANKA, who broadcast from the platform called Bigo Live, saying, "The best escorts are my friends, I will arrange them for you, men, look, even the recited Adhan is a witness."

The statements made by the user with the handle ANKA, who was broadcasting on the Bigo Live application, sparked a major backlash on social media.

The person, who claimed that the "best escorts" in Turkey were their acquaintances, made a statement at that moment saying, "I will talk to them for you and arrange it." The fact that they cited the Adhan being recited at that moment as a "witness" to their own unpleasant words was met with great anger by social media users.
