Hadise's water bottle and Mustafa Keser's handkerchief sold for 1 million TL

Donations poured in for students in need at the Young Entrepreneurship and Governance Association's New Year's ball. A total of 1 million liras in donations was raised through the auction of singer Hadise's water bottle, Mustafa Keser's handkerchief, and jerseys signed by famous football players.

The Young Entrepreneurship and Governance Association (GGYD) held its traditional New Year's ball in Ankara. Donations poured in for successful university students in need. During the night, the water bottle of singer Hadise, who performed at the event, the famous handkerchief of Mustafa Keser, and signed Fenerbahçe, Beşiktaş, and Galatasaray jerseys were put up for auction to support students.

A total of 1 million liras was donated to the “Water Lilies Growing Education Support Fund” during the night. Hadise expressed her happiness at seeing the value placed on the education of girls in particular.

SCHOLARSHIPS FOR 250 STUDENTS

GGYD President Nezih Allıoğlu emphasized that education is the issue the association is most sensitive about, stating, "Within the scope of our 'Water Lilies Growing Education Support Fund' project, we have increased the number of students we provide scholarships to in 2024 to 250. Increasing this number further in the new year and continuing to be a light in the lives of our youth will be among our priorities. We see investing in the education of our youth, who are our future, as our most important responsibility for our country."
