Information regarding the health status of Genç, known for his notable remarks throughout his journalistic career and whose articles were most recently published on Veryansın TV, was announced to the public by Veryansın TV Editor-in-Chief Erdem Atay.
In a post on his social media account, Atay stated the following:
“Our dear brother Nihat, the conscience of Turkey, has been in intensive care at a hospital for four days. He has been intubated since yesterday afternoon. The prayers of all honorable people will be with him. With respect.”
