Journalist Yağız Sabuncuoğlu decides to part ways! He announced he has stepped down from his position

Journalist Yağız Sabuncuoğlu, who served as the channel's editor-in-chief, has stepped down from his role.

Sabuncuoğlu announced the news of his departure in a post on his X account.

Here is Sabuncuoğlu's statement:

Dear sports community;

I am terminating my contract with Sports Digitale, where I have served as Editor-in-Chief for two years and which I view as a great family, of my own volition. This decision to part ways will be the beginning of a new era for me. I now aim to prioritize my own YouTube channel.

The two years I spent at Sports Digitale were not just a job for me; they were the story of a passion, a project I nurtured as one would raise a child. I am grateful to everyone who contributed to our channel growing from 150 thousand subscribers to approximately 800 thousand, and to building the most powerful social media accounts in sports media. I am particularly proud to have created a groundbreaking brand like "Insider," to the records we broke, and to having our name written on trending lists.

I would like to express my endless gratitude to my esteemed elder brothers Murat Zorlu, Ömer Avşar, and Doğan Dirim, who supported me under all circumstances during this process, and to all my colleagues and teammates at the channel. We had two wonderful years together.

We owe our biggest thanks to our valued viewers who accompanied us on this path and never withheld their support. Without your support, we could not have achieved any success. I am glad you were with us, I am glad we walked this path together. Thank you, long live. I love you all very much, my precious family, Sports Digitale.

My bond with Sports Digitale will always remain strong. The possibility of me meeting you again on this platform as a broadcaster in the future is always open.
