Kanal D terminates contract of famous anchor: Successor announced

Journalist Deniz Bayramoğlu, who anchored Kanal D Ana Haber, has parted ways with the network. While the channel management did not provide a reason for the departure, it was announced that Aytaç Can will anchor the main news bulletin moving forward.

Journalist Deniz Bayramoğlu, the anchor of the Kanal D Main News Bulletin, has been dismissed from his position.

No official statement was made by the channel regarding the separation at Kanal D, which is part of Demirören Media. No information was shared regarding why Bayramoğlu was dismissed.

AYTAÇ CAN TO ANCHOR MAIN NEWS

In a post made on the channel's official X account approximately two hours before the main news bulletin was set to air, it was announced that future broadcasts of Kanal D Ana Haber will be presented by Aytaç Can.


With this announcement, it was revealed that Deniz Bayramoğlu's tenure at the channel has ended.

WHO IS DENİZ BAYRAMOĞLU?

Born in Malatya in 1975, Deniz Bayramoğlu began his journalism career in 1999. Stepping into the media sector after interrupting his studies in the Environmental Engineering Department at Istanbul University, Bayramoğlu worked as a reporter and editor for the newspapers Yeni Binyıl, Demokrasi, Sabah, and Yeni Yüzyıl.

Later moving to CNN Türk, Bayramoğlu first took on the role of stock market commentator. He then produced and hosted the program "İş Yemeği" (Business Lunch) and participated in the program "12-14 Güncel" with Pelin Çift and Alp Özgen. Starting in 2009, he hosted the weekday program "Parametre".

Resuming his university education in 2005, Bayramoğlu graduated from the Environmental Engineering Department at Istanbul University. The journalist, who is married to Halk TV Main News anchor Ece Üner, was most recently anchoring the Kanal D Main News Bulletin.
