The NBA, the world's most prestigious basketball league, will now be available to watch in Turkey via Amazon Prime Video.
Amazon announced that it has purchased the NBA's broadcasting rights in Turkey for 11 years. Thanks to this agreement, Prime members in Turkey will be able to watch NBA games with Turkish commentary at no additional cost starting from October 25, 2025.
This move by Amazon is seen as part of the company's global investments in sports broadcasting. Having previously undertaken the broadcasting rights for major sports events such as the Premier League, UEFA Champions League, and the NFL in various regions, Amazon continues its growth strategy by focusing on sports content in the Turkish market.
NBA games will be broadcast with Turkish commentary, featuring contributions from well-known sports commentators Kaan Kural and İnan Özdemir. In addition to calling the games, the duo will also participate in special analysis programs. Amazon also aims to provide viewers with a comprehensive basketball experience through weekly highlights, exclusive interviews, and statistics-focused content.
