YOUTUBE TO INCREASE INTERACTION
YouTube is testing a voice reply feature to allow users to build a closer bond with content creators through comments. Currently being tested with only select content creators, this feature will allow for voice replies to comments instead of written ones.
Content creators included in the test program encounter a sound wave icon when replying to comments. By clicking this icon, they can record their voices and share them in the comments section. Thus, when you leave a comment, you can listen to the content creator's voice reply.
YouTube stated that with this new feature, it aims for users to establish a more personal and instantaneous interaction with content creators. However, some users think that voice replies are not practical.
YouTube is considering adding a translation button under the voice replies. Thanks to this feature, users will be able to instantly read voice recordings in different languages in their own language.
