Parliamentary Correspondents Association announces: Journalist Bilal Yakınbaş has passed away

Journalist Bilal Yakınbaş passed away yesterday evening following a heart attack.

The statement issued by the Parliamentary Correspondents Association, of which Yakınbaş was a member, is as follows:

"Our association member and journalist colleague Bilal Yakınbaş has lost his life following a heart attack. We are in deep sorrow. We wish God's mercy upon our friend who left us prematurely, and extend our condolences and patience to his family, relatives, and all his loved ones." 

The Turkey Photojournalists Association also shared a condolence message for Yakınbaş.

Yakınbaş will be laid to rest on Sunday, October 22 (today) at the Ankara Karşıyaka Cemetery.
