In Istanbul's Şişli district, an operation was carried out by police in the early hours of the morning on the office of the news site Sendika.Org.

Although no one was in the office when the police arrived, it was observed that the bookshelves in the office had been ransacked.

It was stated that two of the photographs hanging in the office were removed, and that a photograph of Nuriye Gülmen, who was previously known for her protests on Yüksel Street in Ankara demanding reinstatement to her job, was taken by the police.

It was announced that the police raid took place at the same time as house raids targeting those who participated in the May 1st demonstrations in Istanbul.
