Progressive Journalists Association (ÇGD) determines its new board

The 27th Ordinary General Assembly of the Progressive Journalists Association (ÇGD) was held in Ankara on May 25, 2025. At the General Assembly, the new board was determined as the single list led by the incumbent President Z. Kıvanç El was elected unanimously.

The new board aims to continue its mission of protecting the ethical values of the journalism profession and defending press freedom. The ÇGD stated that it will continue its efforts to improve press freedom and journalistic standards in Turkey.
