Journalist Ozan Gündoğdu stated that social media, particularly Twitter, functions as a kind of "fast food" in journalism. Gündoğdu expressed that such platforms offer high-calorie and unhealthy information, adding that users cannot accurately interpret the world by looking only at headlines.

Gündoğdu's criticisms were shaped by the example of a conversation between Ünsal Ünlü and Mansur Yavaş being reported incorrectly. It was noted that when Ünlü asked Mansur Yavaş, "Will there be another meeting with Kılıçdaroğlu?", Yavaş replied, "I don't think so, what needed to be said has been said, the matter ended with a fight." However, it was alleged that this statement was presented by some media outlets with a provocative headline.

Gündoğdu stated that such misrepresentations stem from the fast consumption habits of social media platforms. He pointed out that social media users accepting information they see on these platforms without questioning it can lead to misinformation.

Gündoğdu emphasized that the use of social media as a news source should be kept limited and highlighted the importance of users obtaining information from more in-depth and reliable sources. It was stated that while such platforms provide a rapid flow of information, they may lack depth and therefore should be evaluated with caution.
