The duties of journalist Cem Küçük, who is close to the government, at the İhlas Media Group have come to an end.

According to a report by MedyaRadar, it was stated that Küçük will no longer continue his column at Türkiye Gazetesi or his programs on TGRT Haber. The report claims that the decision to part ways was made following allegations that some of his recent political assessments and social media posts had caused discomfort within the group's management.

NEWSPAPER AND TELEVISION DUTIES HAVE ENDED

Cem Küçük was writing columns for Türkiye Gazetesi and hosting the program "Cem Küçük ile Günaydın Türkiye" (Good Morning Turkey with Cem Küçük), which aired during the weekday morning slot on TGRT Haber. He was also a commentator on the "Medya Kritik" (Media Critique) program, which aired three days a week.

HIS POSTS REGARDING CHP DISCUSSIONS HAD BECOME A TOPIC OF AGENDA

Küçük's recent assessments regarding the 'absolute nullity' process within the CHP had caused a wide stir in public opinion. It is alleged that his comments during this process caused discomfort within the İhlas Media Group management.

During these discussions, he had made the following post on his social media account:

“Oh my, some were saying that most of the deputies would stay in the CHP. I was saying that the majority would move to the new party and act with Özgür Özel.

What days those were! Just two months ago:)”

Küçük, who claimed that he was subjected to criticism that he had 'changed his tune' due to his recent thoughts, noted the following in a statement he made on his social media account:

“The CHP has split, a separate party has emerged. You say the newly founded party will get more votes than the CHP. You make an analysis, and they immediately say he has changed his tune to the CHP or the new party. They have completely lost their minds.

Well, what will happen if it turns out like this in the first election, meaning the newly founded party gets more votes than the CHP? As long as Mr. Kemal is there, the CHP cannot get very much. The new party cannot take anything from the AK Party and the MHP.

Two months ago, they were saying 20-30 deputies would move to the new party. We said more would move. What happened?

They will see the result in the first election anyway.”

"MR. KEMAL SHOULD BE TAUGHT AS A LESSON"

Küçük had also made criticisms directed at Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu during the nullity process:

“Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu is finishing himself off. After the absolute nullity, he has no reputation left in the eyes of the majority of CHP voters.

He will already be unsuccessful in the first election. Although his concern seems to be political revenge. Those around him told him 'most of the deputies will not leave,' but he was wrong there too. Towards the election, most of the mayors and some of the remaining deputies will also move to the New Party.

Mr. Kemal should be taught in universities as a lesson on how to be unsuccessful in Turkish politics.”
