Journalist and author Rıza Zelyut has made a striking post regarding Nationalist Movement Party (MHP) Chairman Devlet Bahçeli. In his post on the social media platform X, Zelyut argued that Bahçeli's past and present political maneuvers have laid the groundwork for the formation of Kurdish regions.
1-Mr. Bahçeli, while Deputy Prime Minister in 2002, broke up the Ecevit government, brought the AKP to power, and had Iraqi Kurdistan established.

2-Now, he is having Syrian Kurdistan established with the AKP again.
3-Next is Turkey's Kurdistan...
4-Long live Devlet Bahçeli, the father of the Kurdish nationalists! https://t.co/FRgpKrcR6p
In his post, Zelyut claimed that during his time as Deputy Prime Minister in 2002, Bahçeli brought the Justice and Development Party (AKP) to power by dismantling the Ecevit government, and that this process led to the establishment of Iraqi Kurdistan. Continuing his post, Zelyut argued that Bahçeli is now supporting the establishment of Syrian Kurdistan together with the AKP. Using the phrase "Next is Turkey's Kurdistan...", Zelyut criticized Bahçeli in harsh terms and included the ironic remark, "Long live Devlet Bahçeli, the father of the Kurdish nationalists!"
It is noteworthy that Zelyut's outburst came after Bahçeli liked a photo from an event in Parliament commemorating Sırrı Süreyya Önder, who passed away on May 4.
