Embassies open their doors for European Heritage Days

As part of the 42nd European Heritage Days to be held on September 20-21, 12 embassies and 36 cultural institutions in Ankara will host public events. All events will be free of charge, and registration will begin on September 13.

The 42nd European Heritage Days, organized by the European Union National Institutes for Culture (EUNIC) and coordinated by the Institut français Ankara, will take place on September 20-21. The event will be held in partnership with the Ankara Metropolitan Municipality.

12 EMBASSIES TO PARTICIPATE

As part of this year's program, the embassies of Germany, Austria, Denmark, Finland, France, the Kingdom of the Netherlands, Sweden, Switzerland, Italy, Hungary, Poland, and Ukraine will open their doors to visitors.

43 EVENTS TO BE HELD

A total of 36 cultural institutions and venues will take part in the events. In addition to the embassies, museums, universities, foundations, and associations will also host events. The program will include guided tours, exhibitions, concerts, workshops, screenings, and city tours.

Participants will be able to learn about the historical, architectural, cultural, and artistic heritage of Ankara. The events will also be held simultaneously in Istanbul and Izmir.

REGISTRATION BEGINS ON SEPTEMBER 13

Those who wish to participate in the events must create an account at avrupamirasgunleri.com/tr and make a reservation by reviewing the program. Registration will begin on September 13 at 10:00 AM.

Spaces are limited, and participation will be on a "first come, first served" basis.
