Ilber Ortayli's statement on World War III: 'We are destroying ourselves'

Prof. Dr. Ilber Ortayli made statements regarding a third world war during a live broadcast program he attended.

As a guest of Oylum Talu on Ekol TV, Ortayli made the following assessments regarding a third world war:

"We are slowly entering it. But there probably won't be a global war. This much is certain; the probability of mankind destroying this nature is high. That is to say, we will destroy ourselves, we will destroy our species, we will destroy sub-species. Then there will be no life for a long time. Perhaps we will even dry those out as well.

'IS THIS LIFE EXCLUSIVE ONLY TO EARTH?'

In a universe with millions of stars, who knows, there are things similar to this, we don't know. Planets beyond the Milky Way, and more planets... Why shouldn't there be something like this there too, is this life exclusive only to Earth? Who knows what is there too, we don't know."
