In politics and social life, the timing and the context in which a crisis is presented to the public are just as vital as the way it emerges.
The allegations of illegal transactions and irregularities brought to the agenda regarding the Ahbap Association are undoubtedly concrete realities that must be investigated to the fullest extent on legal grounds. However, for experts and careful observers of the subject, the truly critical question lies here: Why were these files of irregularities, which have been known or accumulated for a long time, pulled off the shelf just before the "New Party's" fundraising and mass financing initiative?
This situation shows that the issue is not merely about civil society oversight; it demonstrates that concrete crises are being instrumentalized with strategic timing to financially suffocate new actors in the political arena before they are even born.
INFORMATION HAS TURNED INTO AMMUNITION. THE TIMING IS SIGNIFICANT
One of the most frequently used methods in political struggles is not to act the moment you identify a vulnerability in your opponent or their related fields, but to wait for the "right moment" when you can cause them the most damage.
Although the irregularities and illegal steps on the Ahbap side were known beforehand, it is no coincidence that the process was swept under the rug and kept hidden until a specific calendar date.
The moment was chosen when the New Party was set to launch its fundraising campaign, a time when the public's sense of solidarity and financial support would be at its highest level.
It is clearly revealed by this choice of timing that the goal is not just to fight illegality, but that a legal process is being used as a political lever.
THE GOAL IS TO CREATE A WAVE OF DISTRUST
For newly established political movements that do not yet benefit from treasury aid, small but mass donations from the public (crowdfunding) are a vital lifeline. The fact that the Ahbap file was blown open right during the donation period is a psychological operation directly targeting this lifeline:
The perception they want to create is: "Look, even in the civil society organization you trust the most and think is transparent, such illegal things are going on. Think twice before investing money in any new structure or political movement; your money might be going to waste."
The strategy in question aimed to create a mass "donation cynicism" (a hysteria of distrust) in society by generalizing the actual irregularities at Ahbap. Thus, they sought to block the aid that would come from the citizens' pockets and serve as a lifeline to the New Party by sowing seeds of "hesitation" and "doubt."
The most important point that should not be overlooked here is this: The illegal transactions that took place within Ahbap must, of course, not go unpunished and must be accounted for before the law. However, the existence of an irregularity does not excuse the political framing and ill intent behind the timing of its release.
The persistent and organized piling up of negative news about Ahbap under the public's donation comments has turned the issue from a simple "corruption story" into a piece of psychological warfare material aimed at eroding the New Party's financial legitimacy.
The fundamental fallacy of the mind that devised this plan is the assumption that the public will not be able to distinguish between the "essence of the event" and the "timing of its revelation." The reasons why the operation failed are as follows:
Citizens easily sense the insincerity of a file being held for months and opened just before a political financing move.
Society has the maturity to distinguish between legal responsibility at Ahbap and the New Party's potential to be a source of social hope. An irregularity in one place cannot stain the search for clean politics in another.
The fact that the timing is so "significant" does not create hesitation toward the targeted New Party; rather, it increases solidarity at the grassroots level by showing what kind of political pressure and engineering that party is under.
The existence of concrete and illegal transactions in the Ahbap file is a fact; however, this does not suffice to hide the political financing engineering involved in releasing said file to coincide with the New Party's donation timing.
These "timed" steps taken to create hesitation among the public and to dry up a new political movement before it even sprouts are destined to be caught by the discernment of society. Just as the emergence of facts is natural, the manipulation of timing is just as obvious; and for this very reason, the targeted political obstruction is destined to fail in the future, just as it has in the past.
