2 HEDEP municipal council members join AKP

Deputy Speaker of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey and AKP Şanlıurfa Deputy Bekir Bozdağ visited the AKP Provincial Organization in Şanlıurfa, where he had gone for official contacts. In his speech after the meeting, Bozdağ stated the following:

"The AK Party, which listens to the voice of the nation, takes steps that align with the demands of the nation, and walks in the direction determined by the nation, will once again achieve the strongest and most successful result in the March 31 local elections through the will of the nation. The same will happen in our Şanlıurfa. I believe in that with all my heart. Our President, Mr. Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, loves both Şanlıurfa and the people of Şanlıurfa very much. Every time he mentions Urfa, he speaks as if he is talking about his own home and family. Whatever request we have brought regarding Urfa to date, we have always received the greatest support. God willing, we will not leave our President alone on March 31."

Following this, a program was held for those joining the AKP from other parties.

Accordingly, former HDP Bozova Metropolitan Municipal Council Member İbrahim Acıoğlu and HEDEP Bozova Municipal Council Member Ahmet Pişkin have joined the AKP.

The party badges were pinned on the two individuals by Bekir Bozdağ.
