2026 budget approved in the Grand National Assembly of Turkey

The Grand National Assembly of Turkey (TBMM) has approved the 2026 Central Government Budget Law Proposal. The proposal was passed with 320 votes in favor and 249 against, resulting in the adoption of the new budget bill.
2024 FINAL ACCOUNT PROPOSAL ALSO APPROVED
In addition, the 2024 Central Government Final Account Law Proposal was also approved and enacted during the same session. This proposal was also passed by a majority, completing an important approval process regarding the accounts for the year 2024.
