55 provincial chairs in CHP support Kılıçdaroğlu

55 CHP provincial chairs have published a joint declaration supporting CHP Chairman Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu.

The statement was read on behalf of the provincial chairs at the CHP Headquarters by CHP Ankara Provincial Chair Ümit Erkol.

KILIÇDAROĞLU HAS SECURED THE SUPPORT OF 900 DELEGATES

Erkol stated, “We have decided to support our CHP Chairman, Mr. Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu, as we believe he will continue the renewal process that has begun in our organizations at the 38th CHP Congress. As a result of the signatures collected and the meetings held, we see that he has secured the support of approximately 900 delegates and that our Chairman will be re-elected.”

It was reported that the declaration announced today was signed by the provincial chairs of 55 provinces, consisting of 774 congress delegates, along with 8 delegates from Erzurum, 4 from Kars, 2 from Karaman, and 5 from Samsun.

''WE SEE THAT OUR CHAIRMAN WILL BE RE-ELECTED''

Reading the declaration on behalf of the provincial chairs at the CHP Headquarters, Erkol expressed the following:

"We have decided to support our CHP Chairman, Mr. Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu, as we believe he will continue the renewal process that has begun in our organizations at the 38th CHP Congress. As a result of the signatures collected and the meetings held, we see that he has secured the support of approximately 900 delegates and that our Chairman will be re-elected.

We have full faith that the 38th CHP Congress will be the scene of a democratic competition in accordance with CHP traditions, and that it will form a renewed administration that will lead our party to power, first in the local elections and then in the general elections. We believe that the renewal process, which started in our organizations at the neighborhood level and continued in the district and provincial organizations, will continue uninterrupted under the leadership of our Chairman. 56 out of 81 provincial chairs of the Republican People's Party have taken office within the last year, and 49 of them were appointed in the last congresses. A vast majority of our provincial organization chairs have been renewed. Our organizations are ready for the march to power with their renewed structures and new excitement. The source and driving force of renewal are the organizations. At our 38th Congress, we will determine our renewed management cadres, who will crown the Republic, which has completed its 100th year, with democracy in its second century, through the will of the organizations.

''THE REPUBLICAN PEOPLE'S PARTY IS A LEFT-WING PARTY''

The Republican People's Party has cadres that have adopted the principles expressed in its six arrows. As stated in its program, it is a left-wing party and will continue its struggle in the light of the universal principles of social democracy. Our Chairman, Mr. Kemal Kılıçdaroğlu, has clearly stated that our internal party law will also be renewed through a charter congress in line with the will and suggestions of our organizations. It is anticipated that this will take place within 20 days from the congress or, due to some technical reasons, may slide to December 1st. The charter congress will be held on December 1st, and the proposals received to date will be conveyed to our organizations. With the suggestions of our organizations, the new form of our charter will be adopted by our delegation at our congress.

As provincial chairs, our primary goal ahead is to increase the number of our local administrators who successfully continue their duties under the leadership of our Chairman, as in 2019, and who successfully represent social municipalism, and to spread our services to every point of the country.

''WE WILL SET OUT FOR POWER''

As CHP Provincial Chairs and organizations, we will emerge from the Congress, which will be the scene of a democratic competition, as 81 Provincial Chairs and provincial organizations, united and strengthened. We confirmed together that our 81 Provincial Chairs share common views on unity and strengthening at the Provincial Chairs meeting we held a short while ago. We will set out together for power and we will achieve this. Long live the Republic. Long live the Republican People's Party."
