A date had been given for his release... The Selahattin Demirtaş riddle continues: 'This is his own opinion'

Mesut Özer, one of the lawyers for former HDP Co-Chair Selahattin Demirtaş, who is currently imprisoned in Edirne Prison, stated that Demirtaş could be released next month.
In his statement, Özer indicated that a commission to be established in the Grand National Assembly of Turkey is preparing to amend laws that need changing and that these regulations will be submitted to Parliament.
He also emphasized that 301 votes from members of parliament are needed for the proposal to pass in the Assembly.
Mesut Özer's statements drew attention, particularly regarding the situation of Selahattin Demirtaş. While Özer stated that Demirtaş could be released, this announcement caused a significant stir in public opinion. However, Demirtaş's other lawyer, Ramazan Demir, refuted this statement and said that Özer's remarks were merely his own personal expectation.
REACTION FROM RAMAZAN DEMİR
In response to Mesut Özer's statements, lawyer Ramazan Demir stated, "Attorney Mesut Özer is not one of the lawyers authorized to represent Selahattin Demirtaş," noting that this statement was solely Özer's own opinion and prediction.
