A highly discussed claim ahead of the Erdoğan-Özel meeting! 'He will offer 4 ministries...'

The repercussions of the meeting held between AKP Chairman and President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan and CHP Chairman Özgür Özel following the March 31 Local Elections continue.

While Erdoğan gave a message of a 'softening period' in politics after the meeting, the CHP side emphasizes normalization rather than softening.

While it is being discussed that Erdoğan and Özel will meet once again during the Eid al-Adha, journalist Can Ataklı put forward a highly discussed claim.

Ataklı alleged that Erdoğan plans to make the CHP a partner in power, just like the MHP, and in this context, he will give 4 ministries to the CHP. 

Can Ataklı said the following on his own YouTube broadcast:

"I spoke with some important CHP members. They said that Erdoğan is pushing for this, and the offer is even being made quietly to Özgür Özel… 'You should also put your hand under the stone, take some ministries.' Erdoğan has already finished the job. Erdoğan is planning the end of his term. He will leave. He has concerns about whether something will happen to him and his inner circle. To get rid of this, he has a plan to make the CHP a partner in power in some way. Of course, is there a response to this?

There is no response in the CHP public opinion, but there is when it enters the management level. Just like the MHP… To integrate the CHP into power in some way... To take three or four names into the government who do not attract much attention but are known to be CHP members. The CHP member who explained this to me, who explained the signal coming from the AKP, says; 'Erdoğan has already given up on this job.'

One or two ministries, the Ministry of National Education, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, but apart from that, there is no ministry he would not give. 'What will happen,' he says, 'if he gives Tourism, if he gives Health, even if he gives the Interior...' He would even give them; he would say, 'you take it and deal with it.' Now there is such an atmosphere. I don't think Özgür Özel would agree to such a thing, but there might be those within the CHP saying, 'look, we also won the municipalities, we need resources for them to work.
