Abdulkadir Selvi: Karamollaoğlu is also against Erbakan's cause

Hürriyet columnist Abdulkadir Selvi criticized Saadet Party Chairman Temel Karamollaoğlu in his column today.

'WHY WERE YOU BOTHERED?'

Selvi said the following about Karamollaoğlu:

"Erbakan's cause was the Palestinian cause. He would raise his voice against Israel's massacres of Palestinians. He would explain that Israel's goal was the Promised Land (Arz-ı Mev'ûd), which includes Turkish territory. He would organize Jerusalem rallies and hold Al-Aqsa Mosque nights.

A major Palestine rally was held in Istanbul against the massacre Israel is committing in Gaza. Millions of people cried out for the oppression in Gaza to stop. For the first time in the world, a head of state attended protests against Israel. Erdoğan's speech made a great impact worldwide.

However, Temel Karamollaoğlu was bothered by this as well. He said, 'The government organizing a Palestine rally is a show.' Good heavens, Temel Karamollaoğlu, Israel is bothered, but why were you bothered?"
