Ahmet Davutoğlu made striking remarks regarding Fatih Aydemir, who resigned from his post as AKP Gaziosmanpaşa District Chair.

Davutoğlu also shared a dialogue that took place between him and President Erdoğan.

Sharing the remarks on his X account, Davutoğlu stated the following:

"YOU WON'T BE ABLE TO FIND DISTRICT CHAIRS TO MANAGE DISTRICTS"

13.5 million is stolen from the safe in the home of the AK Party Gaziosmanpaşa district chair. The person who stole the money turns out to be his son, who says, 'My father was taking bribes.' Later, the district chair resigns. But not the slightest statement comes from any official. When we brought up the issue of politicians declaring their assets through a political ethics law, the President had said, 'If you implement this regulation, you won't be able to find district chairs to manage districts, Ahmet bey.' As you can see in the Gaziosmanpaşa example, good luck with the district chairs you have found!

WHAT HAD HAPPENED?

Money and jewelry with a total value of 13.5 million TL, which were in a steel safe at the home of AKP Gaziosmanpaşa District Chair Fatih Aydemir, were stolen on August 24. It was learned that the thief who entered Aydemir's home was his son, Muhammet Emin Aydemir. 20-year-old Muhammet Emin Aydemir, who stated in his testimony that he committed the robbery, also made striking statements regarding his father. In the testimony recorded in the minutes, Aydemir explained that his father, the AKP Gaziosmanpaşa District Chair, had told him that he was taking bribes.
