Retired Major General Ahmet Yavuz has made a striking post regarding the transfer of members of parliament, a topic that frequently becomes a subject of debate in the political arena.
In a previous post, Yavuz stated, "Political fraud has become normalized. A law should be enacted. Changing parties after being elected as an MP should be banned," and he has now retweeted this view to remind his supporters and the public of his stance.
Arguing that MP transfers lead to issues of transparency and trust in politics, Yavuz expresses that the matter must now be placed within a legal framework. In recent years, the fact that MPs have joined different political entities shortly after being elected continues to create backlash and distrust among voters. Yavuz's proposal envisions a complete ban on this process, making it impossible for MPs to change parties after an election.
