Akit columnist Ali Karahasanoğlu targeted journalist Özlem Gürses, who was placed under house arrest, and her lawyer, stating: "She compared the TSK to a terrorist organization. Fortunately, her statement was taken.. Do you know what she said? And through the legal representation of Furkan Kamalak, the son of former Saadet Party Chairman Mustafa Kamalak, who is involved in politics within the nationalist-idealist-leaning IYI Party, do you know what she said: 'It was a slip of the tongue..'"

Here is the article by Akit columnist Ali Karahasanoğlu:

"She acted as a puppet for imperial states, and no action was taken..

She slandered Devlet Bahçeli, claiming he had a nurse beaten because she hurt his arm. No action was taken..

Now she has compared the TSK to a terrorist organization.

Fortunately, her statement was taken..

Do you know what she said?

And through the legal representation of Furkan Kamalak, the son of former Saadet Party Chairman Mustafa Kamalak, who is involved in politics within the nationalist-idealist-leaning IYI Party, do you know what she said:

“It was a slip of the tongue..”

Let me state my sincere opinion..

If she didn't have previous incidents, I might have believed that Ms. Özlem's tongue had slipped..

But please, really.

If only your tongue would slip just once for the America you serve, for Europe, and compare them to a terrorist organization....

Right?

And how unfortunate it is.

While even Özlem Gürses says, “It was a slip of the tongue”.. look at how CHP Chairman Özgür Özel interprets the taking of a statement from a woman who insulted the TSK: “Beyond oppression, it is once again disgracing our country to the whole world in terms of human rights violations and pressure on the press. You have done this to Turkey as well. SHAME ON YOU!!!”

So, comparing the Turkish Armed Forces to a terrorist organization does not disgrace this country.. But the fact that the person who committed this insolence was detained for a few hours and released after her statement is what disgraces Turkey, is that it?

Shame on you, Özgür Özel. Shame on the seat you occupy, and shame on the CHP that put you in that seat.."
