AKP Ağrı Central District Chair Ömer Tahtalı has resigned from his post due to his heavy workload.

In his statement, AKP Ağrı Central District Chair Tahtalı said the following:

"Dear people of Ağrı, I would like to announce that I have resigned from my position as the AK Party Ağrı Central District Chair, which I assumed with great honor and pride on March 21, 2023, due to my heavy workload. I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to our President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, who gave me the opportunity to serve you during this time, our Deputy Chairman Erkan Kandemir, the members of parliament I had the opportunity to work with, our provincial chairs, all the organization members who walked this path with me, and all the people of Ağrı who hosted and welcomed us in their homes. I will continue to serve this cause and our AK Party at all times. Thank you for the support and understanding you have shown."
