AKP Deputy Chairman Efkan Ala spoke at the AKP Nilüfer 8th Ordinary District Congress held at a hotel in the Nilüfer district of Bursa.
Stating that "there is a ring of fire around Turkey," Ala drew attention to what is happening in Syria and noted that "they have learned how careful one must be as they look at what is happening on the other side of the border."
Efkan Ala continued his speech as follows:
"Let us know that in the east, great powers are always pursuing an agenda. In the Middle East, even coincidences are planned. In that respect, we must be very careful, my dear brothers and sisters. What we want in the Middle East is very clear and explicit: a two-state solution. That is, a Palestinian State, and in place of Israel, which is currently acting like a rogue state there, an Israeli state; but even after all this collapse, we are saying this as the chief architect. Look, Israel right next to us is acting so brutally, so like a rogue state; that Netanyahu government has committed such great genocides there, and it is still doing so. The International Criminal Court has issued an arrest warrant for Netanyahu and the former Minister of Defense. It gave this decision in that case in which we are also an intervening party."
"OUR GOAL IN SYRIA IS CLEAR"
Stating that "their goal in Syria is clear," Ala said, "Our goal is a Syria where Syrians can live in peace and tranquility within the territorial integrity of Syria. Two-thirds of it has been devastated, and they have gone to other countries. To enable these people to return to their lands and their homes, it is necessary to build a livable Syria there. This is our effort. We are working for this. We are against all terrorist organizations there. We are ready to help for stability in the Syria that those terrorist organizations want to destabilize. I always say this," he said.
