AKP Eskişehir Provincial Chair Süleyman Reyhan was dismissed 63 days before the local elections.

Today, the AKP Eskişehir provincial organization hosted President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, who came to the city for a candidate introduction meeting.

Before Erdoğan had even left the city, the party's provincial chair, Süleyman Reyhan, was dismissed. Gürhan Albayrak, the head of Promotion and Media who was already on the board, was appointed in his place.

NEW CHAIR APPOINTED

The new provincial chair, Albayrak, confirmed the appointment. Stating that his appointment was a decision by the headquarters, Albayrak said that he would now lead the local election process as the party's provincial chair.

HEADQUARTERS MADE THE DECISION

Süleyman Reyhan, who announced that he was dismissed because he was given a new assignment, stated, "Due to the new duty entrusted to me by our headquarters, I will continue my political life in a different capacity." Reyhan did not provide information regarding what the new duty assigned by the headquarters would be.

Reyhan, who served as provincial chair for 3 terms in the AKP, stated that they would continue to work devotedly with the entire provincial organization for the March 31 local elections.
