AKP Bahçelievler Mayor Hakan Bahadır threatened Yeniden Refah Party candidate Metin Türk. Amid a flag crisis between the two, AKP's Bahadır threatened Türk, saying, "I will break your head. I will remove every flag you hang; if I don't, I am not a man. Are you a man? I will come and mess you up. Don't I know you take money from the CHP? You dishonorable guy."

Hours before the local elections, a crisis over hanging flags erupted between the AKP and the Yeniden Refah Party (YRP).
YRP Bahçelievler Mayoral Candidate Metin Türk shared a phone conversation he had with AKP Mayor Hakan Bahadır.
Türk claimed that his election banners were removed by the Bahçelievler Municipality.
Türk, who went to the municipality building, called AKP's Bahadır on the phone. The conversation between the two quickly turned into an argument.
While Bahadır told Türk, 'You cannot enter that building,' Türk replied, 'I am not entering! You were going to teach me how to be a man, come and teach me here.'
"I WILL BREAK YOUR HEAD"
Angered by Türk, Bahadır said, "I will show you how to be a man. Go to a mental hospital. I will break your head. Be a man. I will remove every flag you hang. If I don't, I am not a man. Are you a man! I will come and mess you up. I am the law, brother. Don't be rude. They gave me this law, you cannot interfere. Don't I know you take money from the CHP? You dishonorable guy. Everyone knows you take money. I will report you to justice. I am the mayor, don't forget. Everything I do is legal. Next time, complain about me. Take me to court. Even the prayers you perform are haram. Slander is a crime. Go, don't find your trouble from me this evening. Be a man, be a decent person. You will leave with the 3 or 5 thousand votes you get and you will learn how to be a man."

"YOU ARE NOT A MAN"
In the conversation, which consisted of mutual verbal attacks, Türk, who stated that his flags were taken down, replied to Bahadır as follows;
"Come and teach me how to be a man, come. I am waiting at the door. You are not a man. You are not the law, the police are the law here. You are the 'I am the law' type of law. Who gave you the authority? I did not take money from the CHP. Prove it and I will withdraw from the candidacy tomorrow. That is how much of a man I am. You, the AKP member who cannot remove this many CHP flags, you, the AKP member who removes my flags, yes, the provocateur is me. What happens if we take you to court, you handled that business with a trick immediately anyway. I will not tire my jaw with empty words. Come, I am here."
