AKP's Elitaş: We want to continue with our President until death do us part
Visiting the party organization in Kırşehir, AKP Deputy Chairman Mustafa Elitaş evaluated the remarks of AKP Chairman and President Erdoğan, who called this election his 'final election.' Elitaş stated, "If the nation wants 'Tayyip Erdoğan to continue' and puts pressure on politics regarding this, and if the political institution forms an opinion on this matter, we would like to continue with our leader until death do us part."

Addressing party members at the AKP Election Office, AKP Deputy Chairman Mustafa Elitaş said, "The issue of how to continue in politics is a matter of the people's hearts.
It is a great honor for us to be with a leader whom we have worked with for 23 years, a master from whom we learned politics, who knows how to embrace the citizens and enter their hearts in an extraordinary way, and who has won every election he has entered, perhaps unprecedented in world history.
"IF THE NATION WANTS IT"
The history of the Republic will surely write our President's successes in golden letters. Currently, it is not possible for our President to be a candidate for the third time in the 2028 Presidential Elections due to the Constitution. But if the nation wants 'Tayyip Erdoğan to continue' and puts pressure on politics regarding this, and if the political institution forms an opinion on this matter, we would like to continue with our leader until death do us part," he said.
"A SIGN OF COMPANIONSHIP IN THE CAUSE"
Explaining that politics is a matter of loyalty and courtesy, Elitaş said, "Politics is a matter of courtesy. Politics is a matter of loyalty. Politics is a matter of faithfulness. Much has changed in Turkey since the treacherous coup attempt of July 15, 2016. Those who made calculations about Turkey, those who tried to block the efforts made for Turkey to become a regional leader first and then a global country in the geography where its growth, development, and progress are located, brought about the treacherous July 15 coup attempt supported by major states disguised as FETÖ. After the August 7 Yenikapı meeting, a country and a counter-alliance were formed in Turkey.
The togetherness of two leaders, a brother and a patriot, for nearly 8 years, where our leader, our chairman Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, and the leader of the nationalist movement, Doctor Devlet Bahçeli, came together, has been an example to the world just as it has been an example to Turkey.
Since that day, without being involved in any personal life, without showing any effort for the sake of any position, it is a sign of a companionship on the road and a companionship in the cause that will be shown as an example to the world, where the two leaders only focus on Turkey's issues and act together based on what is in Turkey's interest," he said.
