AKP responds to Özel's 'shoebox' jab! 'To FETÖ sycophancy...'

ERDOĞAN CALLED IT A BAKLAVA BOX

CHP Chairman Özgür Özel responded in his speech at the rally to the words of AKP Chairman and President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, who said, "The CHP has lost its balance to such an extent that it shamelessly tries to attribute to us a flagrant crime where euros gushed out of baklava boxes caught in the act of bribery."

ÖZEL MADE A JAB WITH A SHOEBOX

Özel stated, "I have no tolerance for a baklava box, but you have a criminal record involving a shoebox. You are the one who defends even your own thieves, who does not send them to the Supreme Court, who protects your thieves; you are the one who disgraced this state with a shoebox and robbed this nation, Erdoğan!"

AKP'S RESPONSE TO ÖZEL WAS NOT DELAYED

The first response from the AKP to Özel's shoebox jab has arrived. AKP Secretary General Eyyüp Kadir İnan accused Özel of 'FETÖ sycophancy' in a post on his social media account.

In his post, İnan noted the following:

"Özgür Özel continues his FETÖ sycophancy right where he left off. All those scoundrels whose threats you take as an example have fled. It falls to people like you to shoulder the burden of those stateless individuals."
