AKP's Şamil Tayyar gives a date for early elections

As discussions regarding the possibility of an early election continue following developments in Turkey's economy and politics, a notable assessment has come from AKP's Şamil Tayyar.

In a post on his social media account, Tayyar stated that while he knows politics is open to all kinds of surprises, he expressed the view that the new roadmap the government is following in the economy has largely eliminated the possibility of an early election.

Sharing his personal opinion, Tayyar pointed to April 2028 as the earliest election date.
