AKP's Şamil Tayyar speaks out: 'Strange things are happening!' 'If the PKK is to become a state in Syria under the guise of the YPG...'

Former AKP deputy Şamil Tayyar, in a statement made on the social media platform X, drew attention to certain developments in Syria. Tayyar claimed that Hayat Tahrir al-Sham leader Ahmed al-Shara and YPG/SDF commander Mazloum Abdi had met. He stated that the US Ambassador to Turkey and the US Special Envoy for Syria, Tom Barrack, were also present at this meeting.

Tayyar emphasized that these contacts pose a serious threat to Turkey. He expressed that the PKK's presence in Syria continues through the YPG and that there is an attempt to grant this structure an autonomous status similar to that of Northern Iraq. He also alleged that the US is providing a new source of 130 million dollars to the YPG under the pretext of fighting ISIS.

'STRANGE THINGS ARE HAPPENING'

Tayyar stated that these developments need to be explained, saying, "Strange things are happening, things that need explanation, things that those who know must explain." He said that the memorandum previously signed between al-Shara and Abdi is not being implemented and that the YPG is maintaining its current borders. He added that the Damascus administration continues to share oil and natural gas revenues with the YPG.

Claiming that some of the PKK's heavy weapons and personnel are being transferred to the YPG, Tayyar stated that this situation constitutes an ongoing threat to Turkey. He suggested that Israel and the US are trying to establish themselves in the middle of Turkey, Iran, Iraq, and Syria, and that they could use the YPG as a ground force in this process.

Tayyar emphasized that Turkey must not allow this dangerous game and stated that those supporting this project within the state are powerful. He concluded his remarks by saying, "It is a great pity."

-The terrorist organization PKK was supposed to be liquidated with all its components, yet it seems as if the YPG is being pushed to gain an 'autonomous' status in Syria similar to 'Northern Iraq'.

-The US is preparing a new source of 130 million dollars for the YPG under the guise of fighting the so-called ISIS.

-Under the supervision of US and French special envoys, Syrian President al-Shara is meeting with YPG leader Mazloum Abdi today; the agenda is the new status of the YPG.

-The memorandum text previously signed between al-Shara and Abdi is not being implemented at all; the YPG is maintaining its current administrative and military borders.

-The Damascus administration continues to share oil and natural gas revenues with the YPG.

-Some of the PKK's heavy weapons and certain personnel are being transferred to the YPG.

-If the PKK is to become a state in Syria under the guise of the YPG, it will continue to be a threat to Turkey.

-And Israel, together with the US, will settle in the middle of 4 countries (Turkey, Iran, Iraq, Syria).

-It is probable that in the first stage they will try to divide Iran, and then Turkey, and while drawing the new map of the Middle East, they will obtain the ground force they need from here.

-Turkey must never allow this dangerous game.

-As far as I can see, those who support this project within the state are in the majority and are powerful.
