AKP to hold the first of its new Constitution workshops tomorrow
Efforts for a new constitution continue within the AKP. The first of the workshops, to be chaired by AKP Deputy Chairman Hayati Yazıcı, will be held tomorrow.

AKP Deputy Chairman Hayati Yazıcı will chair the first of the "new constitution workshops" to be held tomorrow.
Academics and political scientists will participate in the workshop, which will take place at the AKP Headquarters.
Hayati Yazıcı will hold a press conference before the workshop, which will be closed to the press.
WHAT SHOULD THE ROADMAP FOR CONSTITUTION-MAKING BE?
Regarding the content of the workshop, Yazıcı had previously stated that the workshop would involve negotiations by experts around a table, noting the following:
"We will hold a scientific meeting. We will take their opinions and suggestions. What should the roadmap for constitution-making be? What should the method be? What is the AK Party's role in this? We will negotiate these issues, right down to the architecture of the finally designed constitution and its shaping in accordance with this architecture. Then, we will turn these into a report and present them to our party's authorized bodies."
