It was announced that AKP Istanbul Deputy Murat Kurum is the People's Alliance's candidate for Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Mayor in the March 31 local elections.
Following the AKP Candidate Introduction Meeting held at the Haliç Congress Center, Kurum updated his profile and cover photo on his social media account X (Twitter). He added "Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Mayoral Candidate" to his biography section.
