İYİ Party leader Meral Akşener called the report that appeared on Oda TV regarding İYİ Party's İzmir Metropolitan Municipality Mayoral Candidate Ümit Özlale "fabricated and false."

Akşener stated, "We denied this issue, but today on another YouTube channel, the matter was taken as far as claiming Ümit Özlale would resign. We have applied to the court regarding these matters. I spoke with Ümit Özlale just a moment ago. He also denies it,” she said.

"IT WILL BE IN POWER IN 2028"

"Our party has become accustomed to these types of operational behavioral patterns. I have more experience with these processes than even the President himself," said Akşener, adding, "I am used to it, but fear is of no use against fate. With its decision to be free and independent in these elections, the İYİ Party will achieve a result across Turkey that no one expects. Within the framework of its founding principles, the İYİ Party will both come to power in 2028 and the person it points to will be elected president."
