Alcohol sales approved by majority vote in Denizli Metropolitan Municipality cafes
Denizli Metropolitan Municipality, which passed from the AKP to the CHP, has decided by majority vote to allow the sale of alcohol in cafes and restaurants operated by the municipality.

Denizli Metropolitan Municipality held its May 1st Session of the Denizli Metropolitan Municipal Council on Tuesday, May 14, where a proposal to allow the sale of alcohol in 5 social facilities operated by the municipal company BELTAŞ was sent to the commission.
During the May 2nd Session of the Denizli Metropolitan Municipal Council held on Thursday, May 16, the proposal discussed in the commission was voted on by the municipal council.
WHERE WAS IT PERMITTED?
Alcohol sales were permitted at the Beyaz Kafe located on Çamlık Boulevard in Mehmetçik Neighborhood, the social facility located on Mevlana Street in Kınıklı Neighborhood, and the Değirmen Kafe located on Değirmenönü Street in Gerzele Neighborhood.
In the vote held to designate these as "areas where alcohol is served," the proposal passed the municipal council and was approved.
