Altınordu Mayor Ulaş Tepe resigns from CHP

Ordu's Altınordu Mayor Ulaş Tepe announced that he and the municipal council members have resigned from the Republican People's Party (CHP).

Tepe stated that he and the CHP council members at Altınordu Municipality are embarking on a "new journey," noting that they made their decision with "great sadness."

Emphasizing that their decision would not lead to a change in their approach to local governance, Tepe said, "It will not cause the slightest deviation from our Republican and Kemalist path."

In his statement, Tepe also noted that they would act in line with Özgür Özel's vision of change and new political understanding.
