Another 'dagger' comment from Selvi: 'It hasn't been sheathed yet...'

Hürriyet columnist Abdulkadir Selvi evaluated the remarks made by President and AKP Chairman Tayyip Erdoğan regarding the CHP during his group meeting yesterday in his column today. 

"THERE IS A WARNING FROM THEIR OWN CIRCLES"

Recalling that Erdoğan called the new CHP Chairman Özgür Özel a "caretaker," Selvi commented, "For Özgür Özel to be taken seriously, he first needs to erase the 'caretaker' image. There is an important warning for Özgür Özel on this matter, not just from Erdoğan, but also from within his own circles."

Selvi continued his article as follows: 

"IT HAS NOT BEEN SHEATHED YET"

"Kılıçdaroğlu targeted Meral Akşener at the party congress, saying, 'I entered the election with daggers in my back.' Meral Akşener replied, 'I have never stabbed anyone in the back. If they deserve it, I will strike the dagger into their heart.' In this case, is President Erdoğan wrong when he says that the opposition walks around with daggers in their hands to stab each other in the back? Here is a secret for you; those daggers in the CHP have not yet been sheathed. We will see who stabs whom in the back as we head toward the local elections."
