Another resignation from the İYİ Party

Güner Çiçekli, Deputy Provincial Chair of the İYİ Party in Kocaeli, whose name was mentioned for the Körfez mayoral candidacy, announced his resignation in a statement on his social media account.

Çiçekli stated, "I am sadly resigning from my position as Deputy Provincial Chair of the İYİ Party in Kocaeli and as a member of the Board of Directors, a role I have served with honor for 4 years without any expectations or demands."

I am grateful to all my colleagues who gave me the honor of representing my party during my tenure, to the friends I worked with on the board of directors, to the good people who did not withhold their support from us during my time in office, to non-governmental organizations, to my hardworking brothers and sisters in the press, and to all our loved ones who stood by us by placing their hope in us. May you be entrusted to God," he said.
