Kemal Çiftçi had applied to the Çankaya District Election Board Presidency with a request for the cancellation and renewal of the CHP's 21st Extraordinary Convention, which was held on April 6, 2025.

OBJECTION REJECTED

The Çankaya 4th District Election Board rejected the objection regarding the cancellation of the election. In its decision, the District Election Board stated that the candidate lists for the Chairman, Party Assembly, Science, Culture and Art Platform, and High Disciplinary Board for the CHP's 21st Extraordinary Convention were finalized by the Convention Presidential Council, sealed, and delivered to the election board to be turned into ballots.

The district election board decided to reject the claims as they were not based on any evidence or documentation.

The decision stated, "The claims of the applicant Kemal Çiftçi regarding his candidacy application are under the authority of the aforementioned political party's 21st Extraordinary Convention Presidential Council, and furthermore, since Çiftçi did not base the other claims mentioned in his petition on any evidence or documentation, it was necessary to decide to reject the objection."

Upon the request for the Çankaya District Board's rejection decision to be "overturned due to complete illegality and for the election to be renewed," the application was brought before the YSK.

The YSK decided to reject the request due to "finality, as the decision of the Çankaya 4th District Election Board Presidency is final and there is no state of complete illegality."
