It is claimed that Gaziantep Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Fatma Şahin, whose name is frequently mentioned for a ministerial post, allocated at least one VIP minibus to each company affiliated with the municipality. It was stated that 5.4 million TL was paid for 9 vehicles rented for the Health and Sports departments.

In a report published in Sözcü with the byline of Firuze Şenavcı, it was stated that public austerity measures have not reached the Gaziantep Metropolitan Municipality. It was emphasized that 16 vehicles were rented for the housing company at a cost of 8 million 821 thousand 794 lira.

It is alleged that 7 million 752 thousand lira was paid for 8 vehicles rented for the Consulting Company, and 5.4 million lira was paid for 9 vehicles rented for Health and Sports.
