Bad news for AKP and CHP from the latest election poll: Surprises from HEDEP, YRP, and Zafer Party

As the country heads toward local elections, Yöneylem Social Research Center conducted a new election poll in 27 provinces between September 26-29, 2023.

In the public opinion survey conducted by the company, citizens were asked the question, "If a parliamentary election were held this Sunday, which party would you vote for?"

Yöneylem Research Director Derya Kömürcü shared the poll results on Halk TV.

Before distributing undecided voters:

AKP: 24.3 percent

May 14: 35.62 percent

CHP: 16.7 percent

May 14: 25.35 percent

MHP: 8.9 percent

May 14: 10.07 percent

İyi Party: 6.3 percent

May 14: 9.69 percent

HEDEP: 8.6 percent

May 14: 8.82 percent

Yeniden Refah: 3.2 percent

May 14: 2.80 percent

Zafer Party: 4.1 percent

May 14: 2.23 percent

Workers' Party of Turkey: 2.1 percent

May 14: 1.76 percent

Other: 3.6 percent

Undecided: 9.4 percent

I will not vote: 12.8 percent

At this point, Derya Kömürcü mentioned that the figures obtained when undecided voters and those who say "I will not vote" are distributed proportionally are actually misleading.

"THERE IS A NEW SITUATION AMONG THE UNDECIDED"

"Because they never distribute proportionally. Before the election, we used to see a large number of AKP voters and MHP voters among the undecided," Kömürcü stated, adding, "Now, as a new situation, there are more people among the undecided who, for example, have voted for the CHP in the past. They are currently in search of something, that is clear, that can be seen. We have started to see more opposition voters among the undecided here." Kömürcü then shared the rates obtained "after the undecided voters were distributed":

AKP: 31.2 percent

CHP: 21.5 percent

MHP: 11.5 percent

İyi Party: 8.1 percent

HEDEP: 11 percent

Yeniden Refah: 4.1 percent

Zafer Party: 5.3 percent

Workers' Party of Turkey: 2.7 percent

Other: 4.6 percent
