Former İYİ Party General Administrative Board (GİK) member Bahadır Erdem, who drew attention with his post following the Republican People's Party's (CHP) major victory in the local elections, met with Özgür Özel at the party headquarters today.
It was reported that the meeting, which took place before the Central Executive Board (MYK) session, was 'positive'.
Bahadır Erdem is expected to join the CHP soon.
In a post he shared after the March 31 Local Administration Elections, Erdem had made the following remarks regarding the CHP's victory:
Politics in our country seems to have entered a period of softening. Because with the local elections, the AKP has become the second party after the CHP in terms of vote share. Sovereignty belongs unconditionally to the nation. No tyrannical power can stand before the nation.
