Bahçeli reacts to IMM investigation! Targets Özel and CHP: 'CHP means crisis, fighting, chaos...'

MHP leader Devlet Bahçeli made striking remarks in his statement regarding the IMM investigation. In his statement, Bahçeli used the phrase "The municipal administration is rotten" regarding the investigation.

Devlet Bahçeli issued a written statement.

"Terror is one thing, my Kurdish brothers are something else entirely. Those who evaluate the two together are pure traitors to the homeland," said the MHP leader, who also targeted the CHP over the operations.

"The CHP, which has turned into a party of provocation, is under intense suspicion and doubt," Bahçeli said, adding, "Özgür Özel is acting as a body and spokesperson for sedition. A political and ideological group that does not recognize the law and ignores democratic virtues is brazenly challenging the state's sovereign rights and the rule of law."

HIS TARGET IS THE "IMM"

Bahçeli stated, "According to the testimonies of businessmen who are alleged to be the 'treasury' of Ekrem İmamoğlu, and with whom he has acted together since his years as Mayor of Beylikdüzü, and who are witnesses, complainants, or have benefited from effective remorse laws, a terrible network of bribery and extortion has been established in exchange for zoning, licenses, and occupancy permits. They have laid hands on public property."

Highlights from Bahçeli's statement are as follows:

"A damaging, boring, and destructive black campaign aimed at constantly provoking and spreading high-wavelength arguments and bottomless improprieties is progressing incessantly. A faceless and incompetent hybrid mind, waiting for suitable times to create chaos across our country and burning with the intention of sabotaging the environment of trust and stability, and attempting to rehearse this with systematic, violent, and nerve-wracking immoral tactics, is in operation.

Our Turkey is being threatened from every front and direction. This threat is overt, base, immoral, and alarming. A political and ideological group that does not recognize the law and ignores democratic virtues is brazenly challenging the state's sovereign rights and the rule of law.

"CHP IS UNDER INTENSE SUSPICION"

If we need to correctly name this group that spreads threats, it is the Republican People's Party (CHP), which is prompted from the outside and supplied from the inside. The CHP, which has turned into a party of provocation, is under intense suspicion and doubt. No patch is of a size or dimension to cover the political tear before us. So much so that the CHP is a bleeding wound, a boiling cauldron, and lost time. In this absurd and flawed political understanding, the wheat and the chaff have been mixed, and cleanliness and filth have become intertwined. Right and wrong, lawful and unlawful, beautiful and ugly, dignity and malice, truth and rhetoric have swapped places. The CHP has turned its back on principles and will, faith and reputation, and national independence and future. Unfortunately, Turkish politics is going through a strange, inconsistent, and painful period. Our country's democracy and legal security, as well as the climate of peace and public order, are being subjected to sequential and multiple political operations and an action-oriented rally vortex resulting from massive crowds. Indeed, the grave and existing murky landscape is critical and equally fragile. The infinite guilt complex observed in the CHP, and the panic attacks that expand day by day, are of such importance and seriousness that they cannot be brushed aside by the replenishment of mud-slinging politics.

At a time when large-scale military, political, economic, and diplomatic upheavals that give the feeling that we are on the threshold of a new world are taking place, strategic knots are spreading, and polarization in the fields of tariffs and trade is hardening, Turkey being occupied from within inevitably brings many possibilities to mind. In this context, it is possible and certain to mention five main agenda items that our cherished nation is facing, which have a causal link with the aforementioned developments where the CHP is used like a pair of tongs, and which we evaluate as having internal and external connections: First; the open or secret discomfort and digestive difficulties that the CHP and the political parties aligned around it feel regarding the goal of a Turkey without terror.

TARGETED ÖZEL'S SPEECH IN MERSIN

As is known, with the end of terror, Turkey will add strength to its power, and a belt of peace and tranquility will be established in its internal front and neighboring geographical surroundings. It is more or less known that the CHP, and those who beat the air and think they are 'GOOD' (İYİ) by order, are not convinced by, do not find it in their interest, and are not willing to be saved from the scourge of terror. The fact that CHP Chairman Özgür Özel claimed in his delirium-filled speech in Mersin that the only crime of the Esenyurt Mayor, who was removed from office and is still in custody, was being Kurdish, is separatism; it is a bad and crippled political language. Özgür Özel is acting as a body and spokesperson for sedition. Terror is one thing, my Kurdish brothers are something else entirely. Those who evaluate the two together are pure traitors to the homeland. Özgür Özel's statements and stance, his imaginary accusations, and his efforts to damage Turkey's internal balance, dynamism, and political stability are at a level of baseness that would make even the enemy tip their hat.

Whoever is waiting at the ready to sow discord between Turks and Kurds is an imperialist weapon aimed at the homeland and the nation. The path of the CHP Chairman and his administration, who wink at, give the green light to, wave at, and send coded messages to countries with aggressive and domineering ambitions, is wrong, their method is flawed, and their mind and heart are corrupt. Simultaneously with Özgür Özel's Mersin provocation, separatist demands were voiced at the 'Unity and Common Attitude Conference' organized by the ENKS and PYD with the encouragement and support of the USA and France in the Syrian city of Qamishli, and decisions were taken against the political and territorial integrity of Syria.

A non-centralist solution proposal for Syria, that is, one that excludes the unitary structure, has been opened for discussion. Of course, the Damascus administration has vehemently rejected the decisions and statements of this shameful, defective, authorized, and opportunistic conference; it has emphasized that defending the unity of the Syrian Arab Republic, its lands, and the integrity of its people is a red line. The March 10 agreement between the terrorist Mazlum Abdi and the President of the Syrian Transitional Government, Ahmet Şara, has been violated due to the influence, suggestions, and impositions of external elements. Compensating for this violation and ensuring that the PYD/YPG terrorist organization lays down its arms and integrates into the Syrian Arab Republic in line with the determined roadmap is of vital importance for regional peace and the future.

"SIRRI SÜREYYA ÖNDER'S EFFORTS SHOULD NOT BE WASTED"

It is a requirement of consistency for the DEM Party, which is making progress with determination and patience in the direction of becoming a party of Turkey, to react to the game played in Qamishli. The PKK must immediately surrender its weapons, convene its congress, and complete the organizational dissolution process so that the goal of a Turkey without terror is not infected and certain complications do not occur. Commitment to the February 27 Imrali call without preconditions is essential, and respect and obedience to the person it sees as the leader of the separatist terrorist organization is fundamental. There is no other way out or excuse to hide behind. Especially, the efforts of Mr. Sırrı Süreyya Önder, DEM Party Istanbul Deputy and Deputy Speaker of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey, who is still fighting for his life, from whom I want to receive hopeful news, and for whose healing I pray to the Lord, and the joint steps taken so far should not be wasted.

The Qamishli provocation is a disgrace of adding water to cooked food. Remaining closed to this and removing terror from the country's and region's agenda is a matter of honor of a humanitarian, national, and undoubtedly conscientious nature. There is a high-level need for sincere, realistic, humane, and honest attitudes that bring together opposite poles, resolve contradictions, and cut through prejudices like a knife. Talking and reaching an understanding with the internal depth that will manifest, with effective reasoning power, and with a comprehension ability that does not surrender to clichés, and opening clenched fists to shake hands is in everyone's interest. Common understanding, common sense, common action, and common virtue will minimize potential road accidents. Second; the fact that the genocide continuing in Gaza, the Israeli Prime Minister's continuation of his murder work, and the bloody events manifesting in friendly and neighboring countries naturally concern our country closely. Turkey stands with the oppressed Palestinian people and is against the humanitarian drama and the rampant crime of genocide in Gaza to the end. In line with this moral stance of our country, there are historical duties that it will undertake and whose execution is of inevitable importance and value, and which will not be subject to denial or abuse. The Israeli administration should come to its senses and should not force Turkey, as the leader of Islamic countries, to fulfill this historical duty in the field and by using force as an intervening party.

Due to the Kashmir issue, which has not been resolved for 72 years, Pakistan and India are also on the verge of war. Our wish is for common sense, peaceful dialogues, and lasting calm to prevail between these two countries, and for them to avoid armed conflicts that will end in disaster. Many people lost their lives in the explosion that occurred on April 26 at the Shahid Rajaee Port in Bandar Abbas, in Iran's Hormozgan province. On this occasion, we convey our condolences to the friendly and brotherly country of Iran and share their pain. A strong state is a state that defends human values in every corner of the world, stands out with mercy and conscience diplomacy, and likewise has obvious deterrence and sanctions. The Turkish and Turkey Century will be crowned by such a capable and successful state, the fortune of the Turkish nation will open, and a miraculous and dazzling crescent light will shine in the world. The CHP is operating the propaganda machine to prevent this. While babies are dying in Gaza due to a lack of food and medicine, the CHP's agenda is to walk by stepping in the footsteps of Zionism. While a new world is being established, the CHP is laying dynamite on the foundations of Turkey.

"INFLATION HAS BEEN DECLINING FOR 10 MONTHS"

Özgür Özel, who calls our President to a duel and has put his slanders and imputations on automatic, has not only lost his mind but has also rolled up his sleeves to become a subject of clinical psychology.

Third; the language of violence that probes Turkey's social and economic structure and puts its social spirit and moral fabric into a bottleneck, the illegal action resistance staged in the guise of women, and the time-adjusted provocations trying to terrorize the streets.

The Turkish economy has left the most difficult stages behind, overcome the most challenging processes, and inflation has been declining for 10 months. Even if the risk of global recession is evident, even if danger bells are ringing on the horizon, and even if trade channels are on the verge of clogging, Turkey will succeed in weathering the potential externally sourced economic turbulence and turning risks into opportunities with the power of national unity and solidarity. Moreover, this is the clear and gratifying reality that has already emerged. Those who line up to turn periodic problems in the economy into political and social reactions must first account for the organized corruption network that has nested in municipalities and preyed on public resources. Those who rob the nation's purse and the state's treasury are known, and the legal process regarding them is underway. Respect and adherence to Turkish justice is a duty for everyone that cannot be replaced.

Fourth; the detention of nearly 50 suspects in recent days due to the investigation into forming an organization, rigging bids, bribery, and qualified fraud surrounding the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality. It appears that the salt has rotted, and the municipal administration is rotten. According to the testimonies of businessmen who are alleged to be the 'treasury' of Ekrem İmamoğlu, and with whom he has acted together since his years as Mayor of Beylikdüzü, and who are witnesses, complainants, or have benefited from effective remorse laws, a terrible network of bribery and extortion has been established in exchange for zoning, licenses, and occupancy permits. Those who hold illegal meetings in luxury hotels are evident.

Those who spend more time in the lobbies of expensive hotels than in Saraçhane have acted against the philosophy of the Republic, which is the protector of the unprotected. The white sheep and the black sheep have been distinguished. It is known that those who used frequency jammers during these meetings, taped over security cameras, covered them with napkins when necessary, and left the premises at the end of the meeting with suitcases whose contents became a mystery, are suspicious faces. Özgür Özel's confessions and allegations are the haste of a cornered wretch to cover up crime and criminals, and are as follows: "Why is a jammer used for Erdoğan, a jammer is used for the future president for the same reason." These allegations by Özgür Özel are shameful and foolish in terms of political and intellectual honor. The General Directorate of Security has explained who will use frequency jammers based on the Electronic Communications Law No. 5809. It has become clear that mayors do not have such a right, authority, or privilege.

Moreover, the current management of the hotel where Ekrem İmamoğlu felt the need to hold a secret meeting, despite the Metropolitan Municipality having many offices or buildings, has shared with the public that no frequency jammer was used on the date in question. Indeed, they were all caught red-handed, and the dirty laundry was exposed. Who will be held accountable if not those who lay hands on the public treasury, those who spend the rights of the unborn orphan on the financing of politics, those who build money towers, those who hide phones and numbers during questioning, those who constantly avoid answering questions, those who use courier lawyers in prison, those who constantly publish messages despite being in custody, and those who pressure and blackmail witnesses? Özgür Özel's statement, "The government has two goals: First, to seize the nation's will, and second, to seize Istanbul's rent," is the whining and fear-filled slander of an insolent person who has fallen into the pitch-black darkness of lawlessness. The CHP has betrayed the trust and avoided facing justice. But this escape will be of no use, and it will not lead to any reasonable or acceptable result. Fifth; of course, the earthquake issue, which is our country's agenda at the level of survival.

The 6.2 magnitude earthquake that occurred in the Sea of Marmara on April 23, 2025, has justifiably worried our nation and especially our Istanbulite brothers and sisters.

Earthquakes are an eternal reality of life and our geography. A necessity has arisen to build and revive our urbanization and city planning policies and our existence plans in accordance with this reality. Istanbul is the apple of our eye, the light of our eyes, and our wall of heart and civilization. The decision of the Presidential Cabinet to act with a spirit of mobilization and as an urgent agenda against the earthquake is a correct and respectable decision. It has been announced that 1.5 million buildings in Istanbul are risky and that the number of residences waiting to be transformed is around 600 thousand. The only goal of the bankrupt politicians who have not driven a nail into Istanbul since 2018 has not been to honorably undertake the duty of mayor, but rather to satisfy their political career appetites by using the seat they occupy as a stepping stone. My Istanbulite brothers and sisters have been deceived, cheated, and their hopes have been dashed. This is injustice, and it is greed, opportunism, and stinginess that do not fit into political morality and ethical principles. The well-known political mentality that opposes Kanal Istanbul and constantly makes a fuss, and objects to urban transformation, has failed even in the preparation phase of the fight against the earthquake and has shown no foresight or effort to heal the wound. I believe that the People's Alliance will implement earthquake-resistant housing in Istanbul with tremendous initiative and will own this cherished city to the end. Furthermore, the contradictory and completely conflicting words and evaluations of scientists working on earthquakes and so-called experts who make a profession of mixed statements are unacceptable. While acting in unison on such a vital issue is a requirement of academic morality and etiquette, this has not been done. Even if the optimistic statement by one of our earthquake expert academics that there is no other earthquake danger in Istanbul with the complete breaking of the fault line in the Kumburgaz pit has sprinkled water on hearts, it is a necessity to take sequential measures without interruption and without pause. To the remnants of occupation who want Istanbul to be abandoned, I say this: We will not abandon Istanbul, which we have made our homeland with our blood and soul; we will not give up even a single stone of it, and we will not turn our backs on it.

The result of a poor mind is an arrogant tongue. This tongue is devoid of vigilant intelligence, far from an independent conscience, is a CHP courier tongue afflicted with enmity towards Turks and Turkey, and is extremely dangerous. Today's CHP administration has lowered itself and transformed to the point of aspiring to be the battering ram of cruel circles that have designs on our national unity, our national existence, and our independence, and have reached our castle gates. At this stage, CHP means a cycle of concession, insult, and surrender. CHP means corruption, theft, bribery, plunder, and looting.

CHP means the shamelessness that relies on crisis, fighting, and chaos. It is an impossible dream for this CHP to be in Turkey's future. I sincerely wish it to be known that grace will be born from hardship, and the ideal of a superpower Turkey will rise like a giant in the combination of power and strength, within national unity and brotherhood. Özgür Özel and his cronies will not be among the witnesses of that blessed awakening and uprising.
