Bahçeli's 'Politics is not a race for profit' statement

Nationalist Movement Party (MHP) Chairman Devlet Bahçeli made important statements at the certificate ceremony organized by his party's Politics and Leadership School. Bahçeli emphasized that the main purpose of politics is to develop solutions to the problems experienced in society.

'POLITICS IS NOT A RACE FOR PROFIT'

In his speech, Bahçeli said, "Politics is not a race for profit. Politics must produce solutions to social problems. What those who get into a fight with the state do is not politics. Politics must produce solutions to social problems. We are standing in the right place in history."

Also mentioning the goal of a "Terror-free Turkey," Bahçeli stated that they see this process as a historical responsibility, saying, "It is a historical responsibility for peace." Bahçeli underlined that Turkey's fight against terrorism is a project of brotherhood and that state policies on this issue should be shaped in accordance with the requirements of the time.

The MHP leader pointed out that the peace and security of the nation should be kept at the forefront in all decision-making processes.

With these statements made at the certificate ceremony, Bahçeli once again emphasized the importance of protecting social unity and solidarity, while stating that the essence of politics should be placed on the axis of serving the public rather than concerns of profit.
