Ban on early celebrations in CHP
Local election results have begun to be announced. According to initial data, CHP candidate Ekrem İmamoğlu is leading the race in Istanbul.

CHP supporters have begun to gather and celebrate in front of the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality building in Saraçhane.
However, the early celebrations and complacency seen in previous elections will not take place in this election.
According to information obtained by 12punto.com.tr from CHP sources, CHP Chairman Özgür Özel and IMM candidate Ekrem İmamoğlu do not want early celebrations to be held before the results are finalized.
Following the finalization of the results, Ekrem İmamoğlu is expected to head to Saraçhane and deliver a speech on the platform set up there.
